W(h)ither the University is a personal blog that synthesizes research from numerous primarily scholarly and historical sources into abstracted, overall perspectives on individual topics or questions.  It is not, however, scholarship, and as such exhaustive references for every point are not provided. Rather, there is a general library of resources, with occasional footnotes in posts when a single source is used extensively or for a precise piece of information. If there is something for which you would like to know a source and cannot find it in the Library references or publicly, please contact the author.

W(h)ither the University is an independent endeavor, entirely funded by the author, who has no affiliation with any university, business, or government entity. At the moment, W(h)ither the University is funded by the author's painting sales; if you would like to support the out-of-pocket costs of research, artwork preparation, and platform assistance, purchase of a painting of any size from www.janeerobbins.com would be helpful. Commission-free prices are available on some pieces; contact to inquire.

W(h)ither the University is free to subscribers. The author reserves the right to alter subscription terms or availability without notice. Subscriptions to newsletter delivery can be canceled by subscribers at any time by clicking Unsubscribe at the bottom of the newsletter.
